What if I need to return or exchange my item?

We aim to please our customers.  If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, most items can be returned within 7 days of delivery date.  Please contact us at returns@theperfectpetplace.com for return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from date of issue, and all returns must be received within the RMA period.  Please allow 10-14 days for credit or to be issued.


 


Please note the following regarding returns and/or exchanges:


 


·          If you need a different size or style, a new order must be placed for the replacement item.  Then, return the item previously purchased.  This is because 1) the desired item may be out of stock when we receive your return and 2) for the fastest delivery of your replacement item.


·          The item must be in new condition and contain all original parts and/or packaging.


·          Refunds are given for the merchandise cost only and do NOT include shipping and handling charges.


·          The RMA number must be clearly marked on the return shipment.


·          In the event that your order was shipped for free, but returns were made which dropped your total order below the eligible free shipping amount, the shipping fee for the returned item will be deducted from your refund.


·          We strongly recommend retuning items using tracking or delivery confirmation to ensure we receive the package.


·          Any returned item that falls outside our normal return guidelines is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
